6 medium size sardines/maththi or any other fish of your choice & size
2 medium strings of fresh green peppercorns/pacha-kurumulaku
4 cloves of garlic, medium size
Small onions/shallots - 3
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp Chilli powder
6 springs of Curry leaves
Salt to taste
Coconut oil for frying

1. Clean the fish and make slits on it.
2. Grind pepper corns,garlic,shallots,turmeric,salt and chilli powder and make a thick paste.
3. Marinate the fish with the paste and keep it for 30min.
4. Heat oil in a pan and place the curry leaves and gently place the fish on the curry leaves and fry at low-medium heat by flipping each side whe it is done.(Do not over cook)
