Tomato Sauce

Tomato sauce

ഞാൻ tomato sauce ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോഴെക്കും ഇവിടെ പോസ്റ്റ്‌ വന്നല്ലൊ👍എന്നാലും പോസ്റ്റ്‌ ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇനിയിപ്പൊ recipe വേണ്ടല്ലൊല്ലെ?
Ripe tomatoes - 4 kg
Vinegar - 300 ml
Caster sugar - 200 gm
Garlic pods - 8
Ginger (chopped) - 1 tbsp
Pepper - 6
Cloves - 4
Grated nutmeg - 1 tsp
Cardamom – 3
Bay leaves - 2
salt - 1 tsp
Chop tomatoes into small pieces.
Place them in a pan with all the other ingredients and leave aside closed for 30 mins.
After that, bring the mixture to boil.
Keep stirring in between.
When tomatoes turn soft, remove from pan and sieve it leaving behind all the other ingredients.
Return the filtered tomato pulp to pan and bring back to boil.
Turn down to simmer and reduce it to a rich thick sauce.
Allow it up to one and half hours.
Taste and adjust the sugar.
When cool, keep in fridge and use.
