Choco-Malt Cake

Choco-Malt Cake

225 gram softened butter
225 gram caster sugar
80 gram instant malted milk powder (Eg: Ovaltine / Nesquik)
50 gram unsweetened cocoa powder sifted
4 eggs beaten
200 gram self -rising flour, sifted
4 tbsp milk
For the icing decoration
100 gram butter
200 gram icing sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
Coloured sugar sprinkles few

Method: Preheat the oven to 180 C. Grease and base line 20 cm round cake tin.
For the cake: Cream butter and sugar together in a bowl until blended. Add the malted milk powder, cocoa powder, eggs, flour and milk and beat together until smooth and creamy. Pour the mixture in the prepared cake tin. Bake in the oven foe about 30 minutes, or until well risen and firm to touch. Cool completely. Make icing and and spread over the cake Garnish with sugar sprinkles.A
