Chicken -1/2kg
Potatoes -2 to 3 medium
Big Onion-2(chopped finely)
Ginger -2 tsp(chopped )
Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
Chilli powder_ 1tsp
Pepper powder-1tsp
Curry Leaves-2 springs(chopped)
Green Chilly-3(chopped finely )
Pepper Powder-1tsp
Garam Masala-1tsp
Bread Crumbs-2 cup
Egg white -2
Oil -frying
Water-2 cup
Coriander leaves
Cut the chicken into small pieces ..Wash it properly and drain ..Cook the chicken along with turmeric powder,salt and water..
When done drain and keep aside to cool.. cook the potatoes by adding salt and water..
When cooked ,drain and allow to cool..
Then peel them and mash well.
Mince the chicken and keep aside.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai .Add finely chopped onion, curry leaves , chopped ginger- garlic and green chillies along with pinch of salt.. Saute well..
Saute till the onion become golden brown.
Now add minced chicken along with turmeric pd,chilli pd , garam masala and pepper powder..Saute well and cook for another 5 minutes in low flame by stirring continuously.Add mashed potatoes and mix well .finally add coriander leaves.
Cook in a low flame and stir till all the water has gone..
Check the salt and add if needed..
Remove from the stove and allow the mixture to cool..
When cooled make the mixture into medium size balls..
Flatten the balls into thick patties or to desired shape …..Dip each of them in the beaten egg white and then roll this into bread crumbs..
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry it..
Fry till both sides turn golden brown ..So the chicken cutlet is ready to serve ....
